As I explained earlier, you notebook must be bound. The easiest way to bind it is simply to hole punch each page and put them into a three ring binder. If you don't have an extra three ring binder, or maybe you just want a new challenge, you can always comb bind it. An example of a comb bound notebook is shown to the right. It's more permanent and a little more formal looking.
One of the benefits of comb bindings are that you can do it in the lab, and don't have to pay for it. All you'll need to do is you the comb binder to punch the pages, open the comb and feed the pages through. The down side to comb binding is that it's a bit more permanent. Once the notebook is bound, you must take the notebook apart to get another page into it. Either way, it's some that is available to you, and not very difficult to do.
