Notebook - Dividers & Label SheetsWhen you open up the textbook that you use in Social Studies or Science and flip through the pages to get to chapter 3, you are greeted with a page that welcomes you to the new chapter. There is text that describes the new chapter, graphics and hopefully an appealing layout on the page. For each underlined topic on the Notebook Checklist you will need to make a divider similar to this text book page that welcomes you to the new chapter.
When we made the cover page for the Type Search, we walked through a bunch of tools and tricks that can be used to make a cool design. Those same concepts should be applied here. Dividers need to have:
I would recommend using Illustrator to create your cover. There are many more things that you can do to design your cover in Illustrator than Microsoft Word. Word's much better for text documents, but Illustrator is much more effective as a design program. If you would like to refer back to the video below, it will provide a refresher on using Illustrator to make a cool design. If there is something specific that you would like to do, just let me know.
