Ad Critique Assignment
Together we will analyzed a few professional advertisements for their applications of the Principles of Design. You can find the recordings of these critiques listed below. After doing a few critiques together, I would like you to to do the same thing on your own. You'll need an ad for this. Go through some magazines and find an advertisement, preferably a full page add, that you think is catchy and well made. You'll then have to scan and cleanup the ad in Photoshop. Then, instead of writing a critique, you'll make a screencast of your thoughts.What's a screencast? It's just a recording of your voice and everything that is happening on your screen. This site is littered with screencasts!
