Screen Printing - ComprehensiveA comprehensive for the screen print is really not much more than a page in a coloring book (before anyone colors in it anyway). Since the comprehensive is the pattern for cutting, draw smooth clean lines with pencil and then darken them with tech pens. If it were me drawing the comprehensive, I would prefer to vector it. That is certainly an option. Whichever way you choose, don't rush it though, a good comprehensive will make cutting a lot easier. Remember also that this image can be up to 8" by 8" but it can be as small as you would like it to be. Whatever the size you want, make your graphic that size. When your image is done, it should be black and white... no colors or shades of gray. Choose what should be white, and what should be black (the black can be any color of ink when we print, but for now must be black) and double check to make sure that it's a good size for you. Then you can email my your image and I'll make you the positive. Hopefully I'll have it for you the next day.
Prepping the PositiveWhenever I get it to you, you'll actually receive 2 positives. Line these up precisely and then tape them together with clear tape. The video below will explain the process.
