Making a Screen Recording
Together we've analyzed a few professional advertisements for their applications of the Principles of Design. Now I would like you to to do the same thing on your own. You'll need an ad, which by now you should have chosen, scanned and cropped. Instead of writing your critique, I would like you to make a screencast. What's a screencast? It's just a recording of your voice and everything that is happening on your screen. This site is littered with screencasts! If you already have experiences with screencasts that's awesome! Feel free to use whatever software you prefer. I prefer Screencast o Matic. The video below will walk you through the process of screencasting if you need it. It's honestly much easier than writing it!

So what do you do as your casting? Talk about each of the six principles and how the designer used or didn't use them. There is no right or wrong answer, as long as you back up your opinion by explaining why you feel the way that you do. Please be specific and have your chosen ad open on screen as you discuss it.
